Hockey Fan Says Security Roughed Him Up

ST. LOUIS (CN) - A hockey fan claims a St. Louis Blues security guard beat him in the head with a baton while escorting him from a game. Brett Busse was escorted from the Scottrade Center during overtime in a game on April 21, 2009, according to a complaint filed in St. Louis County Court.

Once out of the arena, Busse claims security guard Anthony Boettigheimer repeatedly hit him in the head with his baton, knocking him unconscious and giving him a concussion.

Busse seeks actual and punitive damages for assault and battery and is represented by Russell Watters of Brown & James.

The St. Louis Blues and SPC Worldwide, which owns the Blues and Scottrade Center, are named as defendants.
