High School Lax About Rape, Mom Says

NEW ORLEANS (CN) - A senior at Mandeville High School, the "commandant" of the Marine Corps JROTC program, raped a sophomore girl in the program, and the school allowed him to continue coming on campus to harass and intimidate her after he was arrested and charged with rape, the girl and her mom say in Federal Court. They also sued the St. Tammany Parish School Board.

Plaintiffs' lead counsel is Jill Craft of Baton Rouge.
