High School Football

A South Carolina appeals court ruled in favor of Charleston’s City Paper in a defamation dispute brought by high school football players and their head coach. The paper published an opinion piece criticizing the team’s post-game ritual in which they threw watermelons they had drawn faces on while making “monkey-like” sounds.
