PHILADELPHIA – A jury must decide whether a theater director’s email to Drama Club parents defamed one of her actors, a federal court in Pennsylvania ruled, in a case brought by three students who criticized the director at a school board meeting. The dispute began after one of the students, the Drama Club president, failed to win the lead in a school play.
