‘Hey, There, Sexy Guy’

ANNAPOLIS (CN) - Patriot Auto Services says it's paid Verizon on time for 5 years for its 1-800-4-PATRIOT toll-free number, but a week ago, callers began receiving this message: "Hey there, sexy guy. Welcome to an exciting new way to go live, one-on-one with hot horny girls waiting right now to talk to you." Patriot says Verizon customer service reps have been no help.

Patriot says it's spent money on "hundreds of magnets, pens, T-shirts, calendars and other promotional materials" bearing its 800 number, and is losing customers to the dirty-talking folks to whom Verizon is forwarding its calls, without warning, reason or recourse.

Patriot says it's losing thousands of dollars a day, and its reputation is suffering irreparable harm.

It demands a restraining order. It's represented in Anne Arundel County Court by Judd Legum.
