Hedge Fund CFO Gets 5½ Years

MANHATTAN (CN) - Ezra Levy, former CFO of the Boston Provident hedge fund, was sentenced on Monday to 5½ years in federal prison for swiping $3 million from the Manhattan-based company. Levy, 33, of New York, N.Y., pleaded guilty in March to securities fraud and wire fraud. He also must pay $3 million in restitution.
