Heart Attack Car Crash

A woman who suffered a heart attack while driving and crashed her car, killing another driver, was properly convicted of manslaughter, a Texas appeals court ruled.

SAN ANTONIO – A woman who suffered a heart attack while driving and crashed her car, killing another driver, was properly convicted of manslaughter, a Texas appeals court ruled.

The woman had been diagnosed with congestive heart failure and was supposed to be wearing a LifeVest at all times but she was not wearing the external defibrillator when she crashed.
