Health care fraud sentence

JACKSON, Miss. — A Mississippi pharmacist was sentenced to five years in prison for his role in a multimillion-dollar scheme to defraud insurers and Tricare, the health care program for military families, by paying kickbacks to distributors that referred medically unnecessary prescriptions.
