Hazing Death

The Fifth Circuit ruled against Louisiana State University in a suit stemming from the death of a student after a fraternity hazing event, finding the university waived Eleventh Amendment immunity against Title IX suits by accepting federal funds. 

NEW ORLEANS — The Fifth Circuit ruled against Louisiana State University in a suit stemming from the death of a student after a fraternity hazing event, finding the university waived 11th Amendment immunity against Title IX suits by accepting federal funds.
