Haze-Control Plan

NEW ORLEANS – The Fifth Circuit ruled that the Environmental Protection Agency did not “arbitrarily or capriciously” approve Louisiana’s plan for controlling regional haze. 

Environmental groups maintained that the plan did “too little to curb regional haze at federally protected areas,” while industrial groups claimed the plan overestimated the amount of pollution that their power plants produced.
