Hazardous waste

OAKLAND, Calif. — Dish Network California Service Corporation will settle California's claims that it illegally disposed of hazardous waste. The company will pay $5.5 million and make “significant changes” to its operations to comply with state law, Attorney General Rob Bonta and Alameda County District Attorney Nancy O’Malley announced Wednesday.
