ATTORNEYS - The Hawaii Supreme Court ordered the disbarment of attorney Howard Gravelle Jr. for his violation of the Hawaii Rules of Professional Conduct when he abandoned his practice and failed to cooperate with the Office of Disciplinary Counsel's investigation of his misconduct. ATTORNEYS - The Hawaii high court orders the suspension of attorney Steven Johnson for 90 days for his violation of client conflict of interest, neglect of a legal matter, failure to deposit or maintain client funds in trust, failure to account for client funds, failure to keep a client reasonably informed about the status of a matter, failure to communicate with a client sufficiently to allow a client to make informed decisions regarding representation, and failure to respond to a lawful demand for information.
