Halloween Warnings

A federal court in Georgia ruled against registered sex offenders challenging the Butts County Sheriff’s Office’s practice of placing warning signs outside of their homes before Halloween. The signs, which warn against trick-or-treating at the addresses, do not violate plaintiffs’ right to be free from compelled speech.
