Half Brothers Accused Of ‘Legal Aid’ Ripoffs

SAN ANTONIO (CN) - Using a slew of corporate fronts, half-brothers Kendrick White and Derrick Brown rip off poor immigrants by falsely presenting themselves as lawyers for "Legal Aid of Texas," 13 named plaintiffs say in a class-action lawsuit in Bexar County Court. White and Brown, both of Lone Tree, Colo., allegedly run their frauds under these corporate names: National Document Preparation Services, National Paralegal Service, Legal Aid National Paralegal Services Division, Legal Aid National Services, The Lans Corp., Legal Aide Divorce Services, Ed Brown Mgmt., Legal Aid Service/Brownmgmt. Inc., Legal Support Services Corp., and Legal Aid Support Services, of Denver and Littleton, Colo., and Austin.
