Guns at the beach

HONOLULU — A federal court in Hawaii issued a temporary restraining order that bars the state from enforcing a new law prohibiting firearms from being carried on government property, beaches, banks and bars. The suing gun owners did not show they are likely to succeed on their First Amendment challenge to the law, however.
