<span style="font-weight: 400;">A proposed disability discrimination class action brought on behalf of three children who claim they developed post-traumatic stress disorder due to the city’s failure to “stem the tide of gun violence in Chicago,” may continue, a federal judge in Illinois <a href="http://www.courthousenews.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/ChicagoGunViolence.pdf"><strong>ruled</strong></a>. </span>

CHICAGO – A federal judge advanced a disability-discrimination class action brought on behalf of three children who claim they developed post-traumatic stress disorder due to the city’s failure to “stem the tide of gun violence in Chicago.”

The city’s motion to dismiss is granted, however, as to two plaintiffs who moved out of the city.
