Groping Judge

The Supreme Court of Louisiana ruled that Kaplan City Court Judge F. Stanton Hardee III, who was arrested for getting extremely drunk and grabbing a waitress without her consent at his bachelor party, should be suspended from office for two years with all but six months deferred and pay a $2000 fine.

NEW ORLEANS — The Supreme Court of Louisiana ruled that Kaplan City Court Judge F. Stanton Hardee III, who was arrested for getting extremely drunk and grabbing a waitress without her consent at his bachelor party, should be suspended from office for two years with all but six months deferred and pay a $2000 fine.

The court rejected the Judiciary Commission of Louisiana's recommendation that he be monitored through 2026.
