Grizzly bears

BOISE, Idaho — A federal court in Idaho granted summary judgment to environmental groups that claimed the U.S. Forest Service and Fish and Wildlife Service improperly failed to obtain an adequate species list and neglected to prepare an assessment that included grizzly bears, as required by the Endangered Species Act, when considering the Brebner Flat Project, which involves both logging and planned burning of the Idaho Panhandle National Forests.
