ROCKVILLE, Md. (CN) - Parents say their depressed 20-year-old son killed himself at a shooting range with the range's rented revolver, which it never should have given him because he was not yet 21. They sued the Gilbert Indoor Range, of Rockville, in Montgomery County Court.
Parents of the late Osiris Suarez say their son's driver's license, which he presented at the range, showed his true age. They say he rented a Smith & Wesson .357 revolver, went to a shooting stall and shot himself in the head without ever shooting at a target.
They demand punitive damages from Indoor Range Operating Company LLC dba Gilbert Indoor Range. They are represented by Victor Long with Regan, Zambri & Long of Washington, D.C.
