MILWAUKEE (CN) - Premier Cards of Philadelphia defrauded a man of $49,000 by promising him Hallmark and other name-brand cards for a distributorship that could earn up to $250,000 a year, then sending unsaleable, lesser-brand cards, late, riddled with errors, such as cards for second cousins, and "a card having an obvious soccer theme on the cover and the inside has a golf message that reads, 'You are definitely under par material!'" Scott Rondeau claims in Milwaukee County Court. Hallmark told him it never dealt with Premier, Rondeau says.
