Sgt. Gaetano "Tom" Alioto of the Lisbon Police Department has accused Police Chief Terry Martorano of conspiring to ruin his reputation, after Alioto reported that the chief had been collecting wages from Lisbon, Carroll College and a jewelry store for hours that were not worked. Alioto sued Lisbon, Martorano and Town Administrator Jeffrey Musche in Waukesha County Court.

Pedro Elizando has challenged the city of Fremont, Calif.'s decision to euthanize his dog, Diablo, in Alameda County Superior Court. The owner wants the city's Animal Care & Services Division to immediately return his pet.
