The SEC seeks an injunction in Tampa Bay Federal Court, seeking to stop Areokinetic Energy Corp. and Randolph Bridwell from selling unregistered securities and telling investors that they found a cheaper way to generate electric power.

The government has sued Karla Fix and Christopher Kirsch in San Francisco Federal Court, claiming a fire that started in Fix's Dodge truck caused the 2002 Boardman Fire that burned about 20 acres in the Medocino National Forest.

The SEC charges Jerry Burdick and Michael Crowley Jr., the former CFO and CEO of SeraCare, respectively, of misstating the company's financial statements by inflating income before taxes, in San Diego Federal Court.
