Got the Wrong Guy

PASADENA, Calif. - Immunity does not shield Los Angeles Sheriff Lee Baca from claims that procedural failures led to police looking for Mario Garcia to incarcerate a different man with the same birthday and name, the Ninth Circuit ruled Wednesday, noting the failure to compare fingerprints, despite a nine-inch height difference, different middle initials and Garcia's complaints of misidentification.
