Google Settles With States for $7 Million

(CN) - Google will pay $7 million to 38 states, where it admitted it improperly collected drive-by information for its street View program.

Google entered an Assurance of Voluntary Compliance with 38 states and the District of Columbia, to which it will pay varying amounts for deceptive trade.

Nebraska will get $108,000 from the deal.
