Golden-cheeked warbler

WACO, Texas — The Texas General Land Office sued the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service over its refusal to rescind the golden-cheeked warbler’s endangered species designation, claiming the federal agency applied an unlawfully heightened standard of review to the state’s petition.
