Girls Gone Wild Producer Sues Copycat Video Maker

LOS ANGELES (CN) - The producer of the "Girls Gone Wild" video series says one of its distributors set up a copycat soft-core porn company called Girls Gone Mobile and marketed its wares to the plaintiff's customers.

Mantra Films and GGW Marketing say Girls Gone Mobile sells downloadable videos, pictures and computer wallpaper of naked girls through Verizon and AT&T mobile phones.

The plaintiffs want damages and an injunction shutting down Girls Gone Mobile's Web site.

Named as defendants are Oasys Mobile dba girls-gone-mobile.com, Mandalay Media, Twistbox Entertainment, Waat Media, Thumbplay, AT&T Mobility and Verizon Communications.

The plaintiffs are represented in Federal Court by Konrad Gatien of Keats McFarland & Wilson.
