Gibson prevails in appeal for Liberace’s rhinestone piano

BOSTON — The First Circuit approved a jury verdict finding a piano restoration firm and its owner breached their bailment agreement with the Gibson Foundation, the charitable arm of the guitar manufacturer, which had lent them the rhinestone-studded piano once owned by late entertainer Liberace but never got it back. The piano restorer argued that email evidence was improperly admitted and the verdict was not supported by the evidence; his objections are overruled.
