Ghosn Escape Facilitators

The American father and son accused of helping former Nissan Motor Co. Chairman Carlos Ghosn escape from Japan in a box have been extradited to Japan’s custody, an attorney for the pair disclosed Monday.

BOSTON — The American father and son accused of helping former Nissan Motor Co. Chairman Carlos Ghosn escape from Japan in a box have been extradited to Japan’s custody, an attorney for the pair disclosed Monday.

Michael Taylor and his son, Peter Taylor, will be tried on charges that they smuggled Ghosn out of Japan in 2019 while the former auto executive was awaiting trial on financial misconduct charges.
