Georgia Supreme Court

GOVERNMENT (CN) - The Georgia Supreme Court nixed a nonprofit voter advocacy group's claim that the State Election Board ignored its petition to adopt new voter registration rules. The court held that the petitioner has no cause of action for the agency's failure to act within 30 days and cannot compel the agency to begin rule-making proceedings. See ruling.
