Georgia Gov. Reveals New Judicial Appointments

ATLANTA, Ga. (CN) - Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal announced judicial appointments to the state's superior and state courts.

Both Mary Beth Priest and John Worcester were appointed to superior court judgeships for the Appalachian Judicial Circuit.

Eric Norris was appointed to the superior court judgeship within the Western Judicial Circuit.

Deal also announced the appointment of Tammi Long Hayward to the Clayton County state court.

The judges will assume their positions upon their swearing in.
