A federal court in Florida granted Pete Buttigieg and Elizabeth Warren’s motion to dismiss George Zimmerman’s libel and defamation suit relating to tweets the politicians made about the shooting of Trayvon Martin. The court dismissed the suit as a shotgun pleading and ruled Zimmerman failed to sufficiently allege an essential element of defamation.
