Geolocation Tracking

SAN JOSE, Calif. – Putative class action plaintiffs’ invasion of privacy claims against Google fail because it is “entirely speculative” that geolocation data was ever collected from any of the plaintiffs while they were at a “sensitive or confidential location,” a federal court in California ruled.

Further, Google did not track all of plaintiffs movements, only specific movements and locations.
