LOS ANGELES - The children of Gene Barry claim the actor who rose to fame playing Bat Masterson on TV died of negligence in Sunrise of Woodland Hills nursing home. They seek damages for fraud, wrongful death, breach of contract and willful misconduct / violations of the Welfare and Institutions Code.
Barry, who suffered from Alzheimer's, died Dec. 9, 2009, 4 days after falling in the nursing home. He was 90.
His estate is represented in Superior Court by Gary Stern with Gordon, Edelstein, Krepack, Grant, Felton & Goldstein.
