Gender Surgery

A transgender University of Arizona professor may pursue his claims against the university relating to the exclusion of gender reassignment surgery under its health insurance plan, a federal court in the state ruled. The professor provided evidence that the exclusion is “not rationally related to a legitimate government interest.”
