Gas Company Snuffed Unions, Court Rules

NEW ORLEANS (CN) - The Fifth Circuit upheld the National Labor Relations Board's ruling that California Gas Transport engaged in a litany of anti-union activities. The CGT interrogated, threatened, fired and several truck drivers. It also created an impression of surveillance, promised pay raises for employees who voted against the union, fired two workers for organizing strikes and gave bad references to pro-union drivers.
