Garbage Truck Driver Alleges Wrongdoing

ST. LOUIS (CN) - Waste Management of Missouri fired a trash truck driver after he refused to participate in illegal dumping, such the disposal of asbestos and medical waste, including burned body parts, the man claims in City Court.

Gary Busken says he was fired in November 2001 shortly after reporting the illegal activities to his supervisors. Busken seeks compensatory and punitive damages. He is represented by Lyell Champagne.
