PASADENA, Calif. – The Ninth Circuit on Tuesday affirmed a Southern California gang kingpin’s 2015 conviction on drug- and firearm-related charges, finding the trial judge’s erroneous admission of inflammatory statements and expert testimony was rendered harmless by the man’s unequivocal guilt.
