CHICAGO (CN) - In a classic clash of rights, a mother claims Lincoln Park High School violated its own "zero tolerance" policy on gang violence by letting nine gang members return after short suspensions, and beat her son, an honor roll student. She says five of the gangbangers face charges for aggravated battery, and they have attacked other students on and off campus since being allowed to return.
The mother sued the Chicago Board of Education dba Lincoln Park High School. She is represented by David Neely in Cook County Court.
