RIVERSIDE, Calif. – Video game retailer GameStop has agreed to pay a total of $500,000 to several California counties to resolve claims its acceptance and sales of used video games violates the state’s pawn-shop laws, and will begin training its employees on how to accept used merchandise under the laws.
