Fulbright rejection

HONOLULU — A Hawaii federal judge found in favor of the Department of State on a Jewish Fulbright applicant’s claims that his 12 grant proposals were rejected in an act of anti-Semitism. Though the federal government partially funds the Fulbright program, it does not have a say in whose applications are accepted and rejected.
