CHICAGO (CN) - A Troy, Mich., man and his two companies defraud the public by selling snake oil over the Internet as cancer cures, the FTC claims in Federal Court. It sued Robert Cloutier, Nu-Gen Nutrition, and Vitasalus, which push their stuff as "the ultimate anti-cancer wellness formula," "an amazing cellular cleanser," that works by "influencing cellular voltage," and so on.
The FTC sued Timothy Westberry and Westberry Enterprises on similar claims in Alexandria, Va., Federal Court.
