FTC Stops Cancer Scams

(CN) - The FTC enjoined two companies and the people who run them from selling bogus cancer cures. Mary T. Spohn, of Surprise, Ariz., must stop claiming that her company Herbs for Cancer sells teas that can cure cancer. And Mark and Marianne Hershiser must stop claiming that products from their Native Essence Herb Co., of El Prado, N.M., can cure tumors and stop cancer.
