CHICAGO (CN) - Data Business Solutions, also dba Internet Listing Corp., defrauds consumers by sending mass emails claiming their Web site address must be "renewed," and falsely promising to "direct mass traffic" to the Web site, the FTC claims in Federal Court.
Data Business is based in Missisauga, Ontario, Canada, but uses a drop box in Chicago. The FTC also sues its owners and operators, Ari Balabanian, Isaac Benlolo, and Kirk Mulveney, and the other names the business operates under: ILS Corp., ILSCorp.net: Domain Listing Service Corp., DLS Corp., and DLSCorp.net.
