From London to Northeast Romania: EU Income

In 2006 Germany had the highest Gross Domestic Product of the European Union, at 2.3 trillion euros, but the United Kingdom had the greatest GDP per inhabitant, at 32,000 euros, more than Germany's 28,200 per inhabitant. The richest in Europe live in Inner London, where the average GDP per inhabitant is 79,400 euros, 336% the EU average of 23,600. The poorest live in the Nord-Est region of Romania, where the GDP per individual is only 5,800 euros.
