French fugitive

LAFAYETTE, La. — A federal court in Louisiana held that a college student “more than diligently” attempted to serve a lawsuit filed in 2021 against a French national who continues to evade service and criminal charges on allegations that he raped her on a college retreat. She has properly served him by either mail or email, the court holds.
