NEW YORK — The Second Circuit upheld the Department of Justice’s decision to withhold documents sought in a FOIA request regarding the department’s investigation into possible campaign finance law violations by the Trump 2016 presidential campaign. The notes and interview transcripts requested are protected by attorney work product privilege.
