Fraud Alleged At Three Concerts|During Sturgis Motorcycle Rally

AUSTIN (CN) - Tickets Plus and its boss Andrew "Rocky" Raczkowski defrauded concert promoters of "millions of dollars" by destroying and hiding ticket stubs for three days of concerts by Kiss, John Fogerty and Kenny Chesney at this year's Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota, the promoters claim in Federal Court.

Plaintiffs Rozone Productions, RTR Illuminated Investors 3 LLC, and Robert Rosen

accuse Andrew Rocky Raczkowski, Tickets Plus Inc. dba Star Tickets Plus, Brian Knaff dba Talent Buyers Network, and Robert J. Struyk of fraud and theft.

The concerts were held from Aug. 4-6 at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, the biggest annual gathering of bikers in the world.

Plaintiffs say more than 42,000 people attended the Kenny Chesney concert alone, but the defendants fraudulently reported that ticket sales for all three concerts combined came to only 25,000.

They claim Raczkowski, of Grand Rapids, Mich., took immediate possession of the ticket boxes after the concerts, and then destroyed ticket stubs, to cheat the promoters. They say defendant Struyk, a consultant for Rozone, was "intimately involved in the ticket fraud and theft".

Plaintiffs are represented by William Luck Jr.
