Fraternities Sue USC

Six fraternities and sororities, led by Kappa Alpha Theta sorority, sued USC in L.A. Superior Court, claiming a proposed policy that would prohibit all first-year students from joining sororities and fraternities until they have completed 12 academic units with a minimum grade point average of 2.5 violates the constitutional right of association.

LOS ANGELES (CN) — Six fraternities and sororities, led by Kappa Alpha Theta sorority, sued USC in L.A.
