Frank Carson’s vendetta suit moves on

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A federal court in California denied summary judgment to all the claims brought on behalf of Frank Carson, a late attorney whose estate sued local prosecutors for allegedly making up evidence to pin a murder-by-hire charge against Carson for being such a successful defender of criminal defendants in Modesto, California. His estate’s Bane Act claims against Stanislau County trudge toward trial.
