MANHATTAN (CN) - Ninety-three franchisees say DHL Express violated contract by announcing it would stop all its "domestic shipping services" on Jan. 30, 2009.
In their $400 million claim, plaintiffs say they are franchisees through a DHL "reseller," nonparty Worldwide Express Operations, and that DHL "has been misusing confidential customer information of the plaintiffs to solicit the direct international shipping business of the plaintiffs' customers."
Plaintiffs say their franchises don't expire until 2019. They are represented in New York County Court by Michael Einbinder.
